On May 23excursion for the students from humanitarian Faculty of the SPSUITMO (Saint-Petersburg State University of information technologies, mechanics and optics) was held in The First City Business Incubator.

4th year students of from humanitarian Faculty of the SPSUITMO studying at program “National economy and applied information technologies in economics” visited the first city through the course “Fundamentals of the entrepreneurship and business planning”.
At one of the previous lections about the small business supporting programs in Saint-Petersburg students intimated a wish to visit a Business-Incubator and meet resident businesses.
In the three hours students had time to visit several companies where they could see the products and manufacture of the companies, touch it and ask interesting questions.
Residents of the Business Incubator leap to show for visitors their “ownership” and descript in details about their company’s activity, histories of foundation and development, shared their experience of entrepreneurial activity.
Evgeniy Gudkov, the general director of the “Light shines” company (http://www.svetsvetit.ru) showed innovative lamps including the latest development – light-emitting lamp Armstrong (http://vkontakte.ru/id217310?44974#/video-214878_160620124), told about its benefits.
Emelyan Gamartz, general director of the Meteo Group (http://www.meteo-spb.ru) told about wide range of equipment offered by the company, conducted the excursion on the production, told about the scope of application, asked the questions about the situation on the world market: about the competitors, major suppliers, foreign analogues of the devices.
Alexandr Solncev, general director of the “Newmen” company told about their unique product – composition “Practex” which helps to increase the service life of machinery (http://vkontakte.ru/video-214878_160622025). Alexandr also told a little about the smallest X-Ray machine produced by the “Nanospectr” company (http://nanospectr.ru).
Nikolay Dmitriev, general director of the “Home ventilation” company (http://www.domvent.com) held a small interactive game in which the work of ventilation valve was clearly demonstrated, showed its benefits, and invited the students to undergo a study course in this company.
“We like innovation ideas, people and their mood and belief in their cause. I still remember narrow corridors with many doors and there is the business behind every of it. It’s early to decide the question about my future occupation, but the visiting of the Business Incubator motivated me to the entrepreneurship way. If it will not die out and get a push in my awareness, then who knows how it will be?”

This excursion became the impetus to business activity. Sure, Business Incubator attracts by its services, but a lot of nuances are unclear for average man. Pitfalls exist everywhere.
