In Saint-Petersburg innovators and investors discussed common problems.
In March 30-31 The Annual business leaders investment forum “Innovation for business” was held in Saint-Petersburg. It gathered in one place business leaders of the Region, entrepreneurs, the political elite, business angels, investors, scientists and experts from international companies with the aim of cooperation in searching of commercially viable projects.

Organizers of the Forum are Investment and consulting company “MARCHMONT Capital Partners”, Saint-Petersburg Regional Branch “Delovaya Rossiya” and Saint-Petersburg Business-Angels Organization

Two day program of the Forum 2011 was aimed to developing consolidated decisions in realization of innovative projects. The main topics for discussion at the first day were problems of investing in innovation, using innovation technologies in business processes, innovation infrastructure development strategies, mechanisms of creating innovation systems and innovation clusters in regions.
The second day of the Forum aimed at entrepreneurs and scientific community representatives. During the Forum there was discussed questions of promoting innovation ideas, initiating a dialogue between science, business representatives and innovators, and also ways of innovative ideas’ commercialization.

In this section the first city business incubator presented its services and the results of resident companies activity.
Within the second day of forums’ framework there was an exhibition where innovators had an opportunity to present their ideas and meet with representatives of innovation projects support funds. “Home ventilation” company (http://www.domvent.com), which is a resident of the first city business incubator took part in exhibition.
